A nonprofit built on the belief that every kid deserves a tribe.
We are a community organization rooted in the conviction that sport — paired with mentorship, presence, and consistency — can change the trajectory of a young life and a neighborhood.
Our story
It started with a pickup game.
TRIB33LITE began as a small group of friends, athletes, and neighbors holding open gym nights for kids in the community. What we saw on that court — talent, hunger, joy, and the heartbreak of nowhere consistent to put it — became our calling.
We grew from open runs to clinics, from clinics to mentorship, from mentorship to community programming that meets families where they are. The "33" in our name honors the third quarter — the moment in any game when grit decides what comes next.
Today, TRIB33LITE is a fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit running free programs year-round, supported by donors, partners, and a tribe that refuses to let any kid go unseen.
Pickup Games
